What is no win no fee?
A no win no fee agreement is the contract between you and your legal team. Also known as a conditional fee agreement, it takes the financial risk out of making a claim. You don't have to pay any upfront fees and you only pay anything if your claim is successful. That's right – if your claim is unsuccessful, you won’t have to pay a thing!
The panel of expert no win no fee solicitors I partner with work on this basis. They arrange no-upfront-cost insurance for you at the start of your claim to give you peace of mind.
There are only a few, very rare, situations in which you can't make a no win no fee claim. If this is the case, your legal team will explain it to you at the very beginning of the process so you can make an informed decision about your claim.

How does no win no fee work?
A no win no fee agreement means that you aren't liable to pay legal fees if your claim is unsuccessful. If your claim is successful, then your legal fees will be paid from your compensation.
Your legal team will agree the maximum deduction for our fees from your compensation at the start of the process, so there are no surprises. The fee will only be deducted when your compensation is paid.
To reduce the risk, your solicitor or legal team may need to arrange insurance for you. No-upfront-cost insurance ensures that you’ll never be left out of pocket – that’s our guarantee.
With us, there are no upfront costs and no unexpected fees, so you can focus on what’s most important – getting back to full health and letting our panel of no win no fee solicitors do the hard work for you.
If for any reason your claim is unsuccessful, and you meet the agreement terms, you won’t be burdened with any legal fees
The panel of no win no fee solicitors I work with explain everything in plain English. If you decide to make a claim, your legal team will explain the process simply before anything proceeds so you always know exactly where you stand.
What types of injuries could I make a no win no fee claim for?
I'm here to help if you’ve been injured in an accident that wasn’t your fault. Examples of accidents you could potentially make a no win no fee injury claim for include:
- Accidents at work.
- Work-related road accidents - whether you were a driver, passenger, pedestrian or cyclist.
- Slips, trips and falls in the workplace.
- Industrial disease.
This list is not exhaustive so, if you’ve been injured and are wondering if you can make a no win no fee accident claim, the best thing to do is to give me a ring on 0800 707 6899 to talk it through.

How much no win no fee compensation could I receive?
Every no win no fee personal injury claim is different, so it isn't possible to give a precise figure of how much compensation you can expect to receive.
The panel of expert no win no fee accident lawyers I work with work hard to ensure you recover the amount of compensation you deserve if your claim is successful. Compensation is dependent on various factors including:
- Injury type and severity.
- Recovery time.
- Medical expenses and travel costs.
- Lost earnings from time off work.
- Any lifestyle changes that you have had to make as a result of your injuries.
- Ongoing care needs.
Your legal team will be able to talk you through this in more detail.

- I felt like a pupil back in school
This is why people do not use these comanies as often, seems to be only after the larger comapnies, personally I wasn't impressed with the service, nor the manner of the solicitor when they eventually contacted myself, I would search for a company that would be willing to assist you a lot better.
John Buckley
- Never return calls.
Twice now I have been told that I would get a phone call back after 6PM as I was unavailable when they originally called and twice now they have failed. May have to use another company.

- NAH was as it says helpful
Was not overawed with the law firm I was referred to. Minster Law of York they wanted 35% of any compensation awarded when the Law Society quoted that the MAXIMUM is 25% across all solicitors Undoubtedly I cancelled the next morning Always ask first what percentage is taken from any award
Pamela Fitzsimons

- National Accident Helpline (Underdog)
Relatively quick and easy process. Had to tell all the details (accident, personal details) to NAH who then typed it all out and then forwarded me to a solicitors (New Law) who then proceeded to ask me all the same questions as NAH.

- Disapointing
Although every piece of literature / advertising / information you see states that you have 3 years to make a claim for compensation after an accident that was not your fault - my claim was reject because I had waited 2 years, 6 months and 1 week to raise it. The solicitor I was referred to told me nobody would take me on with less than 6 months to the cut off (I missed this by 1 week) yet the first person I rang after your rejection has taken up the claim - very disappointing and a pure waste of time
Bernie Lamb
- Friendly callcentre, but solicitor suggested never called
Was advised I had a case and a specialist solicitor will call me back within 24 hours, 3 days later still waiting!
Kelly Sleigh
- A bit disappointing after a promising introduction
After making contact and arranging a call back I was sent an email and text message saying the company had been tryign to contact me, before the arranged date and time, and had not been able to get me, but I had had no missed calls or messages from them. I then heard nothing at the arranged time which is a bit annoying as I stayed in especially to wait for the call.
Su Walker
- Still waiting...
Contacted yesterday, spent ages going through the details to be told that no-one is available to go in to my claim further but will get a call back within 2 hours.... I am still waiting!
Kate Lewis
- TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME
Was contacted by National Accident Helpline with regards to a dental negligence query. Was advised during the call that "there was a chance" my claim would not qualify for "no win no fee" as I am in Scotland. After 27 minutes on the call was put through to a Scottish legal firm who advised that "no win no fee does not exist for such claims in Scotland" so I would need to pay between £500 and £1,500 of fees, which would not be refundable. Total waste of my time as I cannot afford this. I should have been advised "no win no fee is not applicable in Scotland for this type of claim". Amateurs.
Barry Foster
- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Although underdog took on my case they forwarded me onto colemans ctts solicitors!!! Do not use them they are useless! Absolute rip off! Going with a reputable company on tv advert you'd think you would get what's rightfully yours. They charge you 25% of your claim and also take money from your out of pocket expenses which is bang out of order! That's out of my money no one else's!!!! I repeat DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are charging me atleast £1000 for their useless help! Do your research!

- Waste of time
Call centre staff are helpful.solicitor on the other hand gave mixed information I was told my case had a good chance of success so I started to gather all my medical details as requested (at a cost )for them along with statements from my colleges only to receive a letter less than a week later advising me they had now closed my case and would no longer be able to help total waste of 2 hours on the phone and money. back to square one !
James
- Very bad dosent follow up with your clam
I phone them up for a thumb injury and you guys hasn't sent me anything to do with with this clam no phone call no letter no email thanks for wasting my time
Sam
- Initially satisfied
Initially satisfied, representative Solicitor's firm identified and allocated within initial telephone conversation, but when pointed out that there was a conflict of interest with said firm, encountered numerous issues. These included said firm still contacting me to have to be told of the conflict, impatient call handler (Anthony), was poor and may have used a profanity, which I suspect wasn't meant for me to overhear. Eventually spoke with a Manager, (John), who advised that the firm offered was the only suitable one available to them, based on circumstances as outlined. I'm all 3 days wasted in respect of my claim!
Kevin Murray
- I have been on the phone over an hour…
I have been on the phone over an hour to you answering the same questions then the solicitor had to ask a colleague a question and then was put onto another number where the phone rung for 10 minutes so I hung up you phoned me back again and asked me some of the questions again then had to ask another colleague, when you came back the information that you gave me was the complete opposite to what I told you totally useless and waste of time
Regan
- Waste of time
Explained case in full, they then said they wanted to pursue and would go to an external solicitor, they took the case, only to drop it 3 days later as they didn’t want to take a case outside of 2 years, despite knowing all the dates involved at the start. waste of time.
Daniel Flack
- Waste of time
Phoned up gave all the necessary details including date of accident which was just before 3 year claim period said it would be fine. Put me in touch with a firm of solicitors who said due to time limitations they could not help. Rang National Accident a Helpline back who said they were only allowed to refer me to one Solicitor but there may be others out there who could help? Complete waste of my time as I did double check at the outset if this was something they could help with.
Anon
- not impressed one iota
After my initial, pleasant chat with Nick and having requested that I had a call from you between 2 and 3p.m. - thus allowing me to take my medication and have a rest - I was angry to receive a phone call from your Solicitor (whose name I could not catch even after listening x 3 times) at 12.20p.m.. Although I did not get out of bed, it disturbed my rest. I then phoned the Solicitor beck between 2p.m. and 3p.m. only to be told that she was at lunch and would call me back. Sorry but this is where I called an end to it.. Inefficiency at the start did not impress me.
Mollie Krempel

i spent half an hour explaining my case to the phone opperative ,who then accepted my claim , and passed me on to a solicitor, who then swiftly told me i have left it to late to claim, my 3rd year is on the 9th of november, so in my book i,ve got just over a month to make that claim! mr r g heard 07813008119

- National accident helpline - good. The solicitor involved - dreadful
I was called back within ten minutes of requesting a call back to the national accident helpline. My details were passed to carter Moore solicitors. Last Tuesday (21 October) I was told I would hear back from them within 24hours and as of yet, I still haven't heard back from them. Poor service indeed

- Wasted my time this should not have gone any further if the claim was not worth putting through to the Solicitors
I spoke to a lovely gentleman who took all my details regarding a fall I had outside some public toilets and really hurt my back. I was still suffering after a month and had been to the doctors three times taking really strong pain killers (tramadol) I spent 30 mins on the phone explaining what I had done and was told I would be transferred to a firm of solicitors. I was put through and spoke to a lady who took more details and someone would come out to see me. Today I receive an email from the Solicitors saying they would not take my case any further, I am disgusted and would not bother again trying to get compensation through any claims company.

- useless, avoid at all cost!!
Unable to help!!! Don't pay attention to what you're saying.. Missed out on claiming through another company who had bad reviews but we're willing to help and actually coming out to see me at 6pm today. Thinking this company is known and recognised from tv.useless receptionist who struggles to even take down a few details, had to hang up and call back. What a waste of time!!! Thanks for nothing...

- Waste of time and heartache
Absolutely horrific. Very quick to want to take you on board as a "customer" promising the world, returning calls and acting promptly but the instant you are handed over to their representatives Minster Law it all went downhill from there. I was a passenger in a car accident where we were struck from behind on a motorway. They have dragged the process out over the last nine months, never listen to what you tell them and have no urgency or interest whatsoever and it was always a case of me having to be the one chasing them and often ignored for weeks on end. Treat terribly by their "specialist" and even though the other party openly admitted fault and the car I was in was written off, it's taken them 9 months to submit the claim and report only to tell me that the other side haven't made an offer therefore they will not proceed further because there is no engineers report for the car that was written off and will not litigate. So despite the fact the other party admitted fault, the fact I've been to the doctors, hospital and physio on countless occasions with reports from multiple assessments with different doctors/physics, not to mention their ridiculous "specialist" plus I also allowed them access to my personal health history and they're now fobbing me off, completely useless and a waste of time. Save yourself the aggro and use somebody else. I feel like I've been scammed and for all I know they could have claimed and pocketed the claim payout. Pathetic. Never again and would not recommend them to a soul, sorry guys. Steer clear.

- Disappointed
I made my claim last year at first I needed to fill out lots of paperwork which I did. The last time I heard from K H Lawyers was October/November time and haven't heard a word since. I refuse to call them as they will put a charge on my claim each time you speak to them. Total waste of time and no doubt you will charge my home or car insurance for the work you have done.
Sharron Mccarthy
- Dont trust !!!
They employ scam solicitors that sell your details on for fraud. Just got of the the phone to them after a massive arguement with them.

- Poor service
After providing all my details, including contact information, the Solicitor advised they would contact me within 48hrs. After not receiving a call, I called them, only to be advised they sent me a letter requesting more information 😳. Why not email or call??? I certainly won't be using National Accident helpline again, a total waste of nearly a week. Very disappointed
Patrick Chambers
- Try someone else!!!!
I called them two weeks ago and they put me through too SSB solicitors who they said they would send some paper work but they haven't bothered so I called them yesterday and they couldn't help so gave me another number to call and they gave me another number to call. Needless to say this I still have no paperwork so National accident helpline clearly deal with people who can't do their jobs so can't be trusted them selves. Try someone else people!!!!

Set of cretins. At least 13 phone calls and told each on the same, that we have everything sorted through our own solicitors for them to just hand up and call the next day. Ignorant time wasters that only seem to be nice when your giving them business.
