Who we are

We understand that if you decide to make a claim you only do it once, so choosing who to go with is really important. You also want to feel completely at ease and confident about the people who are working on your behalf.

We pride ourselves on being open and transparent, so this section is designed to tell you everything you want to know about us. We know that some people can feel like the underdog when claiming compensation, so this section gives you a personal introduction to the team here at National Accident Helpline, and explains how we endeavour to provide you with the best possible service, every step of the way.

Our team

National Accident Helpline is a friendly and experienced company that puts its customers' best interests first.

We want to be the people you can come to when you want to find out more about claiming compensation. When you claim with us, you can feel secure in the knowledge that you're surrounded by like-minded people who want to help you make the best choice for you.

Our team is made up of a legally trained group of call centre advisors, a highly experienced management team and a panel of specialist personal injury solicitors, located across the country.

To introduce you to some of the faces who work in our business, we have filmed a number of video interviews, featuring the people who will actually be working on your case talking about who we are, and how we all work together to help you gain access to justice.

Mr Peter Lees, 24, Allerton, won £2,000:

"The advisor who answered my call was very helpful in taking me through how the process would work. They put me in touch with lawyers who were approachable and straightforward, and kept me regularly up-to-date."

Our experience

National Accident Helpline was founded in 1993 with the aim of helping people get access to free legal help. It was one of the first of its kind in the UK.

Our experience in personal injury claims, helping hundreds of thousands of victims claim the compensation they need to get their lives back on track, has helped us continually improve and evolve as a company so we can give you the best possible service.

We know that we can't just rely on being the most experienced personal injury specialists in the UK, so we are constantly working to better understand the difficulties faced by accident sufferers, including lasting physical and psychological injuries, as well as serious financial losses.

Knowing how to make claimants feel more comfortable helps us to provide the professional and competent service our customers deserve.

Our no win no fee guarantee

All of the solicitors on our panel can handle your claim on a no win no fee basis, so making a claim is risk free.

In a small number of cases however, they may not be able to do this. Your solicitor will explain any costs involved in your claim to you clearly at the outset and get your agreement before going ahead with your claim. For more information, see why is it free?

Nigel Hooper, 27 , Hampshire, was awarded £1,400 after a road accident:

"I called the National Accident Helpline after seeing the TV advert and had a locally based Solicitor over straight away who kept me in the loop and answered all my questions. I even recommended National Accident Helpline to my friend who is receiving a great service too."

1. Sending an initial letter to the other side

This is called a 'Letter of Claim' - it explains that you intend to claim for your injuries which were caused by their fault.

2. Collecting medical evidence

Your solicitor will collect medical evidence from your doctors or hospital records, they may also set up a new medical assessment on your behalf.

3. Making a list of your losses

Once the evidence is collected, they will put together a list of all the financial losses you intend to claim for, called a 'Schedule of Losses'.

4. Sending a letter to the other side, asking them to pay

This letter will include the list of losses you have suffered. Following this, the other side will need to dispute your claim or accept responsibility and pay the compensation.
